Anthony Quinn, a 42-year-old, has been missing since August 8-10 this year, and 27-year-old Timmy Sterner has been missing since April 9.
Quinn’s family contacted the Nicholasville Police Department (NPD) in August, so it is the entity investigating his disappearance instead of the law enforcement agency in Shelbyville, where he was last seen at a sober living facility.
Quinn left the facility in early August to start a new job in Maysville.
“We know he was last seen at a facility in (Shelbyville), and then we do know that his vehicle was found at some point in Jessamine County on Brumfield Lane,” said Public Information Officer Sam Wade. Quinn’s wallet and phone were also found inside his truck.
According to Sam Wade, the lead detective on the case said the NPD has not received any new developments in this case.
Quinn’s friends and family have not stopped posting to Facebook to spread awareness of his story and his face in hopes that someone may find and recognize him.
Ali Wood is one of the individuals spreading the word. She posted on Facebook that, according to friends and family, this disappearance without any notification is not like Quinn at all.
“Anthony is a son, a brother, a father, a nephew, a cousin, a friend, a best friend, an uncle, and so much more to so many. I’m asking you ALL to take that into consideration as you read this. We all just want to know where he is. It’s been too long,” Wood said in the Facebook post.
Wood posted that Quinn is about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, has blue/green eyes, and has a large “QUINN” tattoo across his shoulders.
“His loved ones are going beyond crazy at this point, and we’re just asking for any kind of help that will lead to finding Anthony!” Wood said in her Facebook post.
Contact the Nicholasville Police Department at (859) 885-9467 for information on Quinn’s whereabouts.
Kentucky State Police are investigating Timmy Sterner’s missing person case. The Jessamine Journal has contacted KSP Public Affairs Officer Justin Kearney to ask about any updates on the case but has yet to receive a response
However, KSP released a press release on April 12, soon after Sterner went missing, with an update on April 22.
“KSP Post 7 was contacted on April 11, 2024, about a missing Garrard County man. Initial investigation indicates Timothy F. Sterner Jr, 27 years old, of Lancaster, KY, was last seen on April 9, 2024, near Haselden Heights Road in Lancaster. He is described as a white male, 5’3” tall, 180 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a Dark blue hat with yellow trim, a Gray T-shirt, blue jeans with paint splatter, and white Nike tennis shoes with a gray Nike symbol. Mr. Sterner also has several tattoos on his body.” Read the press release.
On April 22, KSP identified a vehicle that Sterner was reportedly driving on Sulphur Well Road in Nicholasville near River Road. The car was involved in a single-vehicle collision on April 9, 2024. Upon arrival at the scene, investigators found the vehicle unoccupied, and items believed to belong to Sterner were found in it.
If anyone has any information regarding Timothy F. Sterner Jr.’s whereabouts, please contact KSP Richmond Post at 859-623-2404. Post 7 Trooper Seth Owens is the investigating officer.
