JCPL moving Wilmore boxes to City Hall

The Jessamine County Public Library is excited to announce a partnership with the City of Wilmore. Effective Friday, JCPL’s Wilmore Library in a Box site and return boxes will move from their WesBanco location to a new location outside of Wilmore’s new City Hall.

JCPL’s Library in a Box and return boxes in Wilmore will be unavailable Thursday through Friday afternoon while they are moved. Any Wilmore Library in a Box customers with holds for pickup this week will be contacted by library staff.

Library in a Box is a service offered by JCPL which allows library customers to place holds on materials and pick them up from convenient locations around town. Currently, JCPL offers Library in a Box service at two locations: Brannon Crossing Kroger and Wilmore.

JCPL and the City of Wilmore will expand their partnership in the future by creating a self-service library location inside Wilmore’s City Hall. JCPL is in the initial stages of planning this development and will keep the public updated as progress occurs.

JCPL celebrates this new partnership with the City of Wilmore and is looking forward to bringing information, ideas and cultural opportunities to Wilmore in new and innovative ways.
