Nicholasville woman arrested for marijuana
Molly M. Pierce, 21, of 271 Grinder Court in Nicholasville, was arrested July 16 for operating on a suspended license, DUI and possession of marijuana, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on Pierce’s vehicle to verify proof of insurance. After detecting a smell of marijuana, officers searched the vehicle and found marijuana inside the center console.
When asked when she last smoked, Pierce allegedly told officers, “a couple of hours ago.”
A field sobriety test was performed, which Pierce failed. In the middle of the test, Pierce allegedly told officers, “I’m high.” She was taken to St. Joseph Jessamine for medical clearance before being transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Union man arrested for DUI
John D. Dugger, 39, of 10023 Glensprings Place in Union, was arrested July 15 for DUI, failure to wear seat belts and operating on a suspended or revoked license, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
While traveling west bound on Etter Drive, Dugger was seen not wearing his seat belt. He was described as having constricted pupils and very wide eyes.
Upon checking, officers noticed Dugger’s license was suspended and there was an open warrant for his arrest.
Inside his pockets officers found the cap to a syringe. Dugger admitted to officers that he does in fact inject methamphetamine. A field sobriety test was performed which Dugger failed.
A search of his vehicle resulted in the confiscation of multiple unused needles, a cotton filter, fingernail clippers, small containers to heat up drugs and band aids used in tourniquets.
Dugger admitted to using methamphetamine and allegedly told officers his blood test would show signs of both methamphetamine and marijuana. He was transported to St. Joseph Jessamine for medical clearance before being transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Nicholasville man arrested for DUI
Brian N. Granger, 38, of 220 Shreveport Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 16 for DUI and second-degree wanton endangerment, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to a collision in front of the District Court Complex. Witnesses on scene stated Granger side swiped another vehicle that was parked on the roadway.
Granger was described as having pin point pupils and unsteady on his feet. He was arrested and taken to St. Joseph Jessamine for medical clearance. On the drive to the hospital, Granger allegedly kept falling asleep, according to the citation.
Granger was then transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Lexington man arrested for public intoxication
David Tyler Ginter, 34, of 380 Atwood Drive in Lexington, was arrested July 19 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol), according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Ginter was seen sitting in a parked vehicle on the wrong side of the street. While speaking to Ginter, he allegedly told officers he did not live in the neighborhood and was looking for his iPad.
Ginter was described as having glassy eyes and sweating profusely.
When Ginter exited his vehicle, he allegedly had exaggerated tongue movements outside his mouth, restlessness, exaggerated movements, dry mouth, runny nose, redness around his eyes and irritability. Ginter was arrested and taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Anthony Current, 39, of 150 Forrest Elliot in Nicholasville, was arrested July 15 for contempt of court and violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order.
— Darron Tarome Height, 29, of 2885 Wintergarden Drive Apt. 3 in Lexington, was arrested July 15 for contempt of court.
— John D. Dugger, 39, of 10023 Glensprings Place in Union, was arrested July 15 for a parole violation.
— Austin Prather, 18, of 306 Edgewood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 15 for a failure to appear.
— Randy White, 48, of 895 Lower River Caney Road in Jackson, was arrested July 15 for a probation violation.
— Makenzie R. Anderson, 21, of 141 Cypress Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 15 for theft by deception and third-degree burglary.
— Daniel Rotunda, 38, of 732 Price Ave. in Lexington, was arrested July 15 for failure to appear.
— Jesse Noe, 39, of 139 Circle Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 16 for failure to appear.
— Lindsey G. Horton, 30, of 144 Angela Trail in Nicholasville, was arrested July 16 for failure to appear.
— Dexter Wolphagen, 55, of 215 Imperial Pointe in Nicholasville, was arrested July 16 for contempt of court.
— Shawna R. Pierce, 28, of 271 Grinder Court in Nicholasville, was arrested July 16 for failure to appear.

— Grant Gregory Martek, 53, of 101 General Delivery in Nichoalsville, was arrested July 17 for alcohol intoxication in a public place, menacing and terroristic threatening.
— Nicholas S. Slone, 27, of 1106 Old Main St. in Lexington, was arrested July 17 for theft by unlawful taking.
— Alexis Potter, 19, of 127 Florence Court in Nicholasville, was arrested July 17 for fourth-degree assault.
— Williams Jamison Roberts, 40, of 2959 Atha Road in Convington, Georgia, was arrested July 17 for DUI.
— Nathan Hughes, 28, of 217 Locust Heights in Nicholasville, was arrested July 17 for a Jessamine County warrant.
— Anthony Hurt, 33, of 109 Ford Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested July 17 for violation of conditions of release.
