Cordova man arrested for DUI and open container in vehicle
Cameron S. Mouer, 29, of 8739 Citrus Bend Drive in Cordova, was arrested on April 9 for DUI and possession of an alcoholic container in a motor vehicle, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were notified of a vehicle stopped in the southbound lane of travel on North Main Street. Once Mouer observed police, he pulled into the lot of Nicholasville Utilities. Upon contact officers observed a open can of Bud Light in the center console. Moyer told officers he stopped in the middle of Main Street to pick up a passenger, and admitted to consuming two beers at Tap House. Mouer was described as having slurred speech and glassy eyes. A field sobriety test was performed which Mouer failed. Moyer refused a preliminary great test and was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Nicholasville man arrested on DUI charges
Austin James Cecil Clark, 22, of 344 E. Oak St. in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 6 for failure to give right of way to an emergency vehicle, DUI and failure to maintain required insurance, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
While assisting another officer with a traffic stop, Clark was observed traveling southbound on US 27 passing the police vehicles with emergency lights activated and no change in speed while the left lane of travel was vacant. Clark failed to yield to emergency vehicles and could not provide valid Kentucky insurance, according to the citation.
Clark allegedly told officers he had consumed two alcoholic beverages, Corona, and hour prior to driving. A field sobriety test was performed which Clark failed. Clark denied a preliminary breath test. He was arrested for DUI and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Nicholasville man arrested on methamphetamine charges
Kurtis McCoy, 28, of 305 Biloxi Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 6 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), second-offense possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating on a suspended license, according to a citation issued by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.
McCoy was observed pulling in the back of Sam’s Pawn Shop and letting a passenger out to look in the dumpster. McCoy had a suspended license and allegedly told officers he had not done drugs since the previous night. A syringe and needle was observed no the passenger seat. McCoy was asked to step out of the vehicle, and a ziplock bag was discovered in the drivers door. In the bag was a needle, spoon, a crystal looking substance and two pills believed to be Soboxone.
McCoy was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Nicholasville man arrested for
public intoxication, resisting arrest
Scott W. Thompson, 45, of 320 Southview Drive #309 in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 5 for alcohol intoxication in a public place and resisting arrest, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Thompson was observed causing a disturbance in the office of Derby Ridge Apartments, and was described as in the office talking to himself. When asked to stand up, Thompson allegedly was unsteady on his feet and was asked to place his hands behind his back. When Thompson was grabbed by his arms, he allegedly began to stiffen his arms and pull away. Officers continued to command Thompson to stop resisting. Thompson stopped once handcuffs were placed on him. He was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Lancaster woman arrested on marijuana charges
Kayla Cecile Adams, 27, of 117 Hill Court in Lancaster, was arrested on April 4 for speeding 12 mph over the limit and a DUI, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers observed Adams traveling at a high rate of speed, and upon contact allegedly detected a overwhelming odor of marijuana. Adams admitted to smoking marijuana before leaving her house. Adams was arrested and taken to St. Joseph Jessamine for a blood test. She was then transferred to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Lexington man arrested for public intoxication
Christopher Guest, 46, of 1004 Royle Avenue in Lexington, was arrested on April 3 for alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers made contact with Guest who was under the influence and instructed to stay inside his residence. Officers cleared the scene and drove away when Guest was observed leaving the residence again. He was described as having glassy eyes, slurred speech and unable to walk smoothly. Guest was also carrying a black driving bottle which allegedly smelled like alcohol. Once approached, Guest became disorderly and began yelling, screaming and refused to follow directions. Guest was arrested and taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Nicholasville man arrested for
public intoxication twice in one day
David A. Smith, 47, of 202 N. Second St. in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 3 for alcohol intoxication in a public place, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
At 10:30 a.m., officers responded to a call in reference to an unwanted subject at 206 1/2 E. Maple St. Smith was located laying on the back porch. He was described as having slurred speech and seemed incoherent. When asked to stand up, Smith allegedly fell many times. Smith was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
At 7:11 p.m., officers responded to Rock Fence Park in response to a male masturbating on a set of steps. Smith was slow to respond to officers questions and unable to stand without assistance. Smith was described as having glassy eyes and slurred speech. Smith was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Woman arrested for criminal trespassing and resisting arrest
Brittany Caroline Tolar, 31, address unknown, was arrested on April 2 for drinking an alcoholic beverage in a public place, third-degree criminal trespassing and resisting arrest, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to a local liquor store in reference to a female subject intoxicated and drinking alcohol in the parking lot. Solar had a beer beside her, although told officers it was not hers. While speaking with Tolar, she allegedly grabbed the beer and began drinking from it in front of officers. Officers then issued a criminal trespassing warning, and advised Tolar they needed to see her leave the property. She was then placed under arrest for criminal trespassing.
While being advised to get in the back seat of the officers cruiser, Tolar became stiff and would not get in the vehicle. Tolar was advised she would be pepper sprayed if she did not get in the back of the vehicle. Solar told officers she would not get in the vehicle, at which time the officer deployed pepper spray and was able to get Tolar inside the police cruiser. She was taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center.

— Grover Huff, 70, of 11282 Troy Pike in Versailles, was arrested on April 2 for DUI.
— Clayton Hensley, 48, address unknown, was arrested on April 2 for a probation violation.
— Janet R. Wyatt, 35, of 838 Conns Lane in Lancaster, was arrested on April 2 for theft by unlawful taking under $10,000.
— James N. Griffin, 45, of 157 Pam Drive in Garrard, was arrested on April 3 for failure to appear.
— Alana Marie West, 26, of 104 Cardinal Circle in Lancaster, was arrested on April 3 for non-payment of court fees.
— Robert Felix Rodriguez, 25, of 243 Mercer Avenue in Harrodsburg, was arrested on April 3 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.
— Phillip Eugene Handley, 44, of 302 Woodview in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 3 for failure to appear.
— Cleston McKinley, 50, of 74 Leadean in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 3 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.
— Megan M. McCollum, 20, of 678 Burton Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 4 for failure to appear.
— Jennifer L. Perez, 40, of 1142 Elmfork Road in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 4 for operating on a suspended or revoked license, failure to appear, probation violation and theft by unlawful taking under $500.
— William Clay Lancaster, 61, of 1901 Lock 8 Road in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 4 for non-payment of court costs.
— Angela M. Byrd, 36, of 448 Corman Road in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 4 for failure to appear.
— William Mark McIntyre, 48, of 225 Normandy Court in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 4 for contempt of court.
— John D. Whisman, 29, of 3181 Catnip Hill #16 in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 5 for first-degree burglary.
— David H. Chandler, 40, of 360 Loudon Avenue in Lexington, was arrested on April 5 for non-payment of court costs.
— Sarah Beth Colegrove, 30, of 112 Orchard Court in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 5 for leaving the scene of an accident with failure to render aid or assistance and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
— Normak I Kidwell Jr., 38, of 104 Shannon Parkway in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 6 for failure to appear.

— Amy Manges, 33, of 109 N. Glencove St. #B in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 7 for possession of controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.
— Roger Nathan McDonald, 39, of 76 E. Mt. Eden Road in Russell Springs, was arrested on April 7 for DUI.
