West Jessamine High School students recently finished painting a unity mural where students took on the last of painting a wall with the goal of embodying the world language department as a whole.
“When deciding on the mural, our club members bounced around many great and creative ideas,” French Club President Mackenzie Brenner said. “Our goal was to try and embody the world language department in one picture, but still keep France as a focal point. We chose to paint a bridge because we believe it is symbolic of the way language can unite us as citizens of the world.”
