The Jessamine County Grand Jury convened on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, and returned the following results in open court on Wednesday, July 26, 2017.
• Officer Clint Newton with the Nicholasville Police Department requested several subpoenas regarding ongoing investigations, and they were approved by the Grand Jury.
• Officer Sam Wade with the Nicholasville Police Department presented evidence regarding the case again Rodney Rutherford, 17-F-00298, and the Grand Jury passed it pending further investigation.
• Christine B. Adkins — Theft by unlawful taking, controlled substance.
• Deznic Allen — First-degree promoting contraband, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second-degree PFO.
• Kimberly Beer and Penny F. Jackson — Second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, (Beer—two counts and Jackson—one count).
• Kimberly Burt — Public intoxication, first-degree promoting contraband.
• Lauren A. Carrol — First-degree promoting contraband, possession of legend drugs, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second-degree PFO.
• Brody S. Farrell and Jacob T. McIntosh — Second-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking, $500 or more, first-degree PFO (Farrell).
• Caleb A. Johnson — Leaving the scene of an accident, theft by unlawful taking, $500 or more, second-degree fleeing or evading.
• Jennifer Lynn Perez — Theft by failure to make required disposition, $10,000 or more, first-degree PFO.
• David H. Rhoades — Second-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking, $500 or more, first-degree PFO.
• Cameron Turner — First-degree possession of a controlled substance.
• Cameron Turner — First-degree possession of a controlled substance, fraudulent use of credit/debit card.
• Isaiah T. Wilkinson — First-degree possession of a controlled substance.
• Montiest Barney — First-degree robbery.
• Ken Russell — Receiving stolen property, firearm, possession of synthetic drugs.
• Billy Burton — More than 60 days have elapsed since the case was referred to the Grand Jury. Pursuant to RCr 5.22, the defendant should be discharged from custody and money or bonds deposited should be refunded.
• Jamie White — More than 60 days have elapsed since the case was referred to the Grand Jury. Pursuant to RCr 5.22, the defendant should be discharged from custody and money or bonds deposited should be refunded.
• Marshall Gabbard — This case was not presented and should be rescheduled for the August 9, 2017, docket.
