Jo Ann Bruner Corman, 91, widow of Willard F. Corman passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Hospice Care Center. She was born October 24, 1932 in Nicholasville to the late Robert G. and Delia Hurt Bruner. She retired as a clerk from Rand McNally in 1994. She was very passionate about the Rainbow Remembrance Group she started that offered support and encouragement for people in the community that have lost a child. Jo Ann had been a member of Versailles Methodist Church since 1956 where she sang in the choir and was a member of the prayer and praise group for over 50 years. Recently, she became a founding member of the new Wesley Covenant Fellowship Church. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her children, Danny Corman, Freddy Corman, siblings, Chester Bruner, Bobby Lyle Bruner, Esther Shearer, grandson, Zachary Hutchens, son-in-law, Jimmy Spurgeon, and special “Brother” Benny Peel. Jo Ann will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Delia Corman Spurgeon, Versailles, Melissa Corman, Versailles, grandchildren, Marlon (Lora) Hutchens, Leslie (Billy) Barker, Jason (Larissa) Spurgeon, special “Sister and Brother”, Sue (Frankie) Reynolds, Alben (Rose) Peel, 9 great-grandchildren, and 11 great great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were held on Monday, July 29th at the WCF church with Pastor Matt Merrill, and Pastor Tim Thompson officiating. Burial followed at Versailles Cemetery.
