Nicholasville man arrested for drug trafficking

The Nicholasville Police Department and the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit took a Nicholasville man into custody this week.
According to a new release posted on the Nicholasville Police Department Facebook page, Barry Stinnett was arrested after officials executed a search warrant at 111 North Central Avenue.
This resulted in the seizure of 42 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Stinnett was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st-degree, and 2nd or greater trafficking offense.
In 2014, Stinnett was charged with murder and 4th-degree robbery. In 2020 and 2021, Stinnett was also charged with trafficking in controlled substances.
