John Knox, born September 1, 1935, in Lotts Creek, KY, passed away while at his home in Nicholasville to his Heavenly home on October 21, 2023. In his 88 years he lived to serve his Heavenly Father and his fellowman. He was married to Sandra, the love of his life, for 61 years. He attended NBC where he worked diligently as a deacon and a 4th grade Sunday School teacher. He enjoyed meeting and helping people and sharing the Gospel with all who wanted to hear. He wanted everyone to experience the peace and joy he had found in his relationship with Christ. He retired from Square D where he worked as a Team Lead. He is survived by his wife Sandra Parks Knox, daughters Renita Knox and Angela (Calvin) Steele, grandchildren John Steele, Kayla Steele, Megan (James) Martin, and great-grandson Cameron Martin. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg Road with James Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 12PM until the time-of-service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
