The Nicholasville Police Department announced a drug bust Wednesday on its Facebook page.

According to the post, the NPD performed a routine traffic stop that turned up two handguns and multiple illegal drugs. During the search police found: 12 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 8 grams of suspected cocaine and 16 grams of suspected heroin.

The operator of the vehicle, who was not named, was charged with drug trafficking and driving under the influence.
