Lexington First Insurance has opened a location in Nicholasville and has been welcomed by the Jessamine Chamber of Commerce with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The ribbon-cutting was on June 28, 2022 and Colten Blankenship, an insurance advisor at Lexington First Insurance, cut the ribbon around noon.
Lexington First Insurance has been around for 8 years and originally started in Lexington. There was availability in Nicholasville, and Lexington First Insurance moved to the new location.
“We love the sense of community that it brings, and we decided that’s what we’re all about. We’re more than just coverage, we’re community here and we wanted to be a part of this community,” Blankenship said at the ribbon-cutting.
The future for Lexington First Insurance in Nicholasville is to join and help better the community. Lexington First Insurance plans on hosting family-friendly events, getting out into the community, and partnering with other businesses to make the community safer.
“As an agency, we want to make sure everybody is insured properly, that way we can all feel safer driving on the roads or walking down the street.”
The chamber is excited to have the company as a new member.
“It’s always exciting when we have new businesses actually wanting to create their home base here in Jessamine County, because not only does it add to our community itself, but when you have individuals that are invested here and want to live here, and they’re dedicating their work-life here as well, it just grows our community and grows that quality of what Jessamine County has to offer,” Ronda May, Executive Director of the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce said.
