Morgan elected to KMCA Board of Directors

The Kentucky Magistrates and Commissioners Association, headquartered in Frankfort, Kentucky held its annual election of officers and directors last week at the association’s annual meeting.
Jessamine County Magistrate Gary Morgan was sworn in as a member of the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Magistrates and Commissioners Association on Thursday night, March 7, in front of over 400 county elected officials in Louisville.
“I’m honored to serve my district as Magistrate and I am equally honored to be elected by my peers and serve all Kentucky Counties” Morgan said.
Formed in 1952, the Kentucky Magistrates and Commissioners Association is a statewide non-profit organization that is the voice for all Kentucky fiscal courts in Frankfort. The Association represents all 570 county elected magistrates and county elected commissioners. KMCA also provides training, education and serves as a local government resource to county elected officials.
“Magistrate Morgan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board of directors. He is a natural leader and I am proud he is willing to serve at the state level”, said JC Young, KMCA executive director.
