Nicholasville man
arrested for marijuana
Mathew D. Moore, 32, of 1501 S. Main St. in Nicholasville, was arrested April 13 for DUI and possession of marijuana, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched in reference to a subject slumped over the steering wheel. The vehicle was running when officers arrived. Upon waking up Moore, he allegedly told officers he had been drinking earlier that evening and he was not driving because he knew he should not.
Moore agreed to a field sobriety rest, which he failed. Upon conducting a search, officers found Moore to be in possession of a small bag of marijuana, according to the citation.
Moore was transported to St. Joseph Jessamine for a blood test, before being transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Nicholasville man arrested for methamphetamine
Jefferey D. McManaway, 48, of 102 W. Walnut St. in Nicholasville, was arrested April 9 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and leaving the scene of an accident with failure to render aid or assistance, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
McManaway admitted to being the operator of a vehicle involved in an earlier collision in Nicholasville, and allegedly told officers he had fled the scene without notifying anyone or leaving contact information.
McManaway was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Lexington man arrested
for methamphetamine
William Paul Bowling, 44, of 843 E. Loudon Ave. Apt. 3 in Lexington, was arrested April 9 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Bowling was seen walking along US 27. Upon contact, officers asked Bowling if he had a driver’s license.
Bowling handed officers his ID card, and it was confirmed Bowling had an active warrant out for his arrest. Upon searching Bowling, methamphetamine was found in his right front pocket.
Bowling was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Nicholasville man
arrested for marijuana
James Lucas, 30, of 35 Leedean Circle in Nicholasville, was arrested April 15 for violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order and possession of marijuana, according to a citation released by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the above address in reference to a domestic dispute in progress. Lucas was found to be in violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order, and the victim felt at risk because Lucas allegedly pushed down the victim’s sister and continued to kick her when she was down.
A search resulted in the confiscation of a leafy green substance in a small baggy. The substance was suspected to be marijuana.
Lucas was arrested and taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Ronald W. McCouler, 68, of 2300 Hall Road in Nicholasville, was arrested March 29 for fourth-degree assault.
— Willie Williams, 59, of 320 Edgewood Drive Apt. A in Nicholasville, was arrested April 4 for alcohol intoxication in a public place, leaving the scene of an accident with failure to render aid or assistance, no registration plates and failure to maintain required insurance.
— Joshua L. Silvers, 37, of 123 Jefferson St. in Nicholasville, was arrested April 5 for a parole violation.
— Nathan C. Peel, 38, of 2755 Chrisman Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested April 5 for failure to appear.
— Beth Ann Hale, 45, of 432 B. Russell St. in Danville, was arrested April 5 for failure to appear.
— Audrey Monday, 28, of 208 W. Campbell St. in Frankfort, was arrested April 5 for failure to appear.
— Mathew L. Feldman,55, of 200 Alpine Way in Nicholasville, was arrested April 5 for DUI, leaving the scene of an accident with failure to render aid or assistance, driving on a DUI suspended license and failure to maintain required insurance.
— Brian Hooser, 46, of 1108 Grenshaw Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested April 5 for non-payment of court fees.
— Jacqueline L. Walls, 39, of 621 Longview Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested April 6 for failure to appear, third-degree assault and resisting arrest.
— Charles L. Jackson, 36, of 111 Jefferson St. in Nicholasville, was arrested April 6 for failure to appear.
— La Jancin Arron Penman, 24, of 113 Stephens St. in Nicholasville, was arrested April 6 for third-degree criminal trespassing.

— Dana Michelle Disciplina, 45, of 516 Poplar St. in Versailles, was arrested April 7 for speeding 16 mph over the limit, DUI and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in the vehicle.
