Four Nicholasville men were arrested last week on drug, concealed weapon and defaced firearm charges

Humberto G. Reyes Ayala, 21, of 408 Miles Road; Jordan Blake McPherson, 21, of 405 Imperial Pointe; Joshua Tanner Masters, 19, of 104 Cottage St.; and Collian K. Vincent, 23, of 108 Stratton Ave. Apt. 12, were each charged with trafficking in marijuana (first offense), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (first offense, cocaine),  carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a defaced firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Reyes Ayala, McPherson and Tanner were each also charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified).

According to citations issued by the Nicholasville Police Department, officers responded to a call June 23 concerning someone flashing a firearm as they drove away from the caller.

After locating the vehicle at the BP gas station on Etter Drive, four Nicholasville men were arrested.

All subjects in the vehicle were identified by the officer, and after further identification from the complainant, all subjects were removed from the vehicle for questioning, according to the citation.

Once the four exited the vehicle, officers could see an AR15 rifle in the back seat which had previously been obscured by a backpack.

Officers also found two pistols in the vehicle. One was located under the passenger’s seat, and the other was located in the center console, according to the citation. The second handgun allegedly had its serial number removed.

Officers said the vehicle smelled like marijuana, and a marijuana grinder could be seen in the backseat. When searching the vehicle, officers located a small tin containing suspected methamphetamine and a suspected Xanax pill was also located in the driver’s side door panel.

Inside the backpack, officers found four ounces of marijuana, 18 Xanax pills, six grams of cocaine, 13 grams of suspected methamphetamine, two sets of scales and a large amount of cash.

All four were transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
