Asbury to hold President’s Breakfast

Asbury University will hold its annual President’s Breakfast on Tuesday, April 22, at 9:00 a.m.
The breakfast will be held at the Shaw Collaborative Learning Center, 1 Macklem Drive, Wilmore, Asbury University.
Asbury is inviting the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce and other area leaders.
According to an Asbury press release, the event will start with a buffet breakfast and Chamber announcements before Asbury’s 18th President, Dr. Kevin Brown, shares his speech about Asbury’s “unique role in Jessamine County’s thriving economy and dynamic business community. ”
RSVPs for the event were due April 8, but the RSVP form is still open at www.asburycommunity.org/chamber-breakfast. You can also email your RSVP to advancement@asbury.edu or call 859-858-5136.
Asbury was established in 1890. It is a private Christian university. Although the university is non-denominational, it is aligned with the Wesleyan Holiness Movement. Wesleyan-Holiness is a Christian movement that emerged in the 19th century rooted in the teachings of John Wesley. The Wesleyan Holiness Church is a Methodist Christian movement in the conservative holiness movement.
