Elizabeth attended Eastern Kentucky University and worked for over two decades as a 911 Dispatcher and Information Officer with different agencies but “found her most rewarding home at Jessamine County 911, where she was known for volunteering to support many community projects.”

“Liz was a committed member of the Kentucky Women’s Law Enforcement Network and worked tirelessly to advance their profession. Despite being wheelchair bound as a teenager, she loved to travel and was completely self-reliant. She lived in the UK for a brief time and had a fondness for Monster films and legendary creatures like Bigfoot. Liz was an avid attendee of the Scarefest event in Lexington as well as a volunteer at the Headley-Whitney Museum and the Lexington Living Arts & Science Center. Liz had an infectious laugh that she shared often. She was a member at Southland Christian Church from the time when it resided on Hill-n-Dale, and had a lasting friendship with our pastor Brewster McCloud,” read the dedicatory Facebook post created by Elizabeth’s friends at Jessamine County 911.

Elizabeth’s memorial service will be held on April 22nd at 11 a.m. at the Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing.
