Jessamine County has officially announced the launch of a new and improved website. 

Months of work by a website committee, including input from employees and supervisors across all county departments, has created Jessamineky.gov.

The website is now more similar to the Visit Jessamine website than one from the 2000s, with a photo slideshow featuring the iconic county spots of Camp Nelson, the Kentucky River, Riney B Park, and City-County Park on the home page. Press releases from the past several months are also available for viewing through links at the bottom of the page.

Besides updated visuals and a more user-friendly design, the website also has a new .gov domain, which also changes all Jessamine County employee email address domains to .gov. The website also includes a way to search through an online document center under a tab titled “transparency.” This page has bids, applications, 2025 appointments on all county boards, audits, budgets, and more. 

The Facebook post by Jessamine County announcing the new website said it provides “easier navigation to help you find what you need quickly” and “more resources to support our amazing community.”
