A local widows and widowers ministry for grief support will meet at the Perryville Baptist Church on Sunday, March 23, at 12:30 p.m. 

The grief support group Caring Friends Hope and Help, hosted this month at the aforementioned church, 202 Bragg Street, Perryville, KY, 40468, is only about a 40-minute drive from Main Street Nicholasville.

“Our ministry’s [purpose] is to encourage those that are grieving and remind them that they are not alone. Please join us and invite a friend,” read a press release sent out by Caring Friends Hope and Help. 

Perryville Baptist Church will provide a meal, and David Walden will speak on the work of the Gideons. Gideons International, which started in 1899, distributes free Bibles, which can be found in many hotel rooms across the country. There will also be door prizes and gift bags for all attendees.
