Jessamine County’s CARE Council is hosting an event to celebrate Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King on Monday, Jan. 20.
According to a Facebook post by Christ Church Lexington, the event will be hosted at East Jessamine High School on 815 Sulphur Well Pike, Nicholasville, KY 40356.
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. event will start with a breakfast from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a celebration following the breakfast at 11 a.m.
Special guest speaker will be local Author Jim Coleman from Crest Farm in Lexington, Kentucky with his latest book, “Don’t Sell the Goose That Lays The Golden Egg.”
