Jessamine County Public Library is set to host their inaugural open house event at JCPL+ this Saturday, August 3. JCPL+ is a self-service library space in Wilmore.
In 2021, JCPL partnered with the City of Wilmore to open JCPL+ in the Wilmore Municipal Center, established in the former Providence High School building on South Lexington Avenue.
Anyone curious about JCPL+ is welcome to this exciting Open House event. Customers will leave ready to access this self-service location to enjoy benefits like holds pick up, book drop off, public computers, and printing/copying.
“We are looking forward to introducing people to all of the benefits that this location provides,” said Emily Moon, JCPL’s Marketing and PR Coordinator. “This will be the perfect time to see the space for the first time or to get a refresher on all of the services offered here.”
The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will include inflatables, interactive activities, library card sign-ups, and more. This is a great way to get to know the space while the whole family has fun.
