News Release
On Thursday, February 1, The Kroger Co., Louisville Division, will host a grand reopening the Nicholasville Kroger grocery store. Located at 200 East Brannon Road the $1.5 million investment includes a total store reset – increasing product selection and improving the fresh shopping experience with an expanded Meat/Seafood section. The store also opened a new Wine & Spirits Shoppe and larger PickUp department in 2022.
To celebrate the store’s grand reopening, Kroger will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, February 1, where the store’s management team and associates will celebrate Kroger’s re-commitment to the Nicholasville community. Nicholasville’s Mayor Alex Carter will be in attendance along with East Jessamine High School’s Choir, cheerleaders, dance team and pep band.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the reinvestment in the Nicholasville customer experience with several favorites and new options,” said Nicholasville store manager Jason Samons.
Shoppers can line up at the store after the grand re-opening and the first 100 customers will receive a $25 Kroger Gift Card.
