The farming community suffered a great loss on Friday December 1, 2023. Jack Watterson Elliott, 66, born July 19, 1957, went to be with his Lord and Savior after a brief bout of cancer. Jack was an avid softball player, coach, and fan. He was the 1976 State Horseshoe Pitching Champion. He is survived by his wife, Teresa, his son J.W. Elliott (Renee), and daughter, Kendall Elliott (Tyler), the mother of his children, Hope, his grandchildren, Lane Stephenson, Jacob Stephenson, and Presley Simpson, his sister Elizabeth (Steve) Agee, brother David (Pattie) Elliott, and many nieces and nephews. He is the son of Edward T. Elliott and was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary Hillman Elliott. Jack had accumulated an abundance of friends from a vast variety of backgrounds during his walk of life.
