Carl Douglas French, 66, died Thursday, November 23, 2023, in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky to Carl “Bill” French and the late Marcella Kaufman French. Doug was a retired parts manager at Wilson Equipment and a graduate of Jessamine County High School. In addition to his father, Bill he is survived by two brothers, Keith (Lisa) French and Larry (Tammy) French, and two nieces, Dylana Goatee (son Aidan) and Amye French (daughter Mila), and other family members. A visitation for Doug will be Friday, December 1, 2023, at Betts & West Funeral Home from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Department 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
