Honorable Bill G. Johnson, age 77, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Baptist Health Louisville.
He was born November 25, 1945 in Clinton County, KY the son of the late Kenneth and Dora (Booher) Johnson.
Bill was a 1964 graduate of Cumberland County High School, then went on to serve in the United States Army from 1965-1967. A 1974 graduate of Western Kentucky University follow by University of Kentucky College of Law in 1977.
He served as Trial Commissioner of the Jessamine District Court from 1978-1981 then went on to serve as District Court Judge of the 13th Judicial District (Garrard, Jessamine and Lincoln counties) from January 1982 to January 1999.
In addition to his work, Bill was also an avid Tennis Player and enthusiast. He also enjoyed time with his grandchildren, the stock market and collecting coins.
Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Sarah Jurgensen (Joe) and Tina Klein (Tony); six grandchildren, Tyler, Sam, Savannah, Annie, Cary and Chloe; one brother, Kenneth Johnson, Jr.; two sisters, Patricia Sue Pratt and Brenda J. Teal; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family plans to conduct services privately.
