Lexington man arrested in Nicholasville after being found with numerous suspected controlled substances

A Lexington man faces several drug-related charges after his arrest in Nicholasville last weekend
On Friday, Aug. 18, Nathan Cory Robinson was found by Jessamine County EMS and Fire in the overflow parking lot of the East Brannon Road Drake’s restaurant.
According to the arrest citation, upon arriving at the scene, an officer from the Nicholasville Police Department observed that Robinson was being treated by EMS but refused to be transported to the hospital.
A search of Robinson’s car yielded a substance suspected to be heroin inside paper in a black jar, blue small pills, an unknown substance wrapped inside a plastic bag, a substance suspected to be methamphetamine and a substance suspected to be marijuana in a jar. Robinson was then arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Robinson was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st-degree, 1st-offense (heroin), possession of a controlled substance 1st-degree, 1st-offense (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance 1st-degree, 1st-offense (drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and public intoxication of a controlled substance (excludes alcohol).
He is currently lodged at the detention center on a $2,500 cash bond.
