Brannon Crossing has added a new fast food joint to its roster: Taco John’s.

The restaurant celebrated its groundbreaking in September last year and finally held its grand opening on Monday, June 26.

This new restaurant is Taco John’s eighth Kentucky location and the 375th restaurant systemwide. It is located at 521 E. Brannon Road, just across from Movie Tavern, and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Kentucky has several Taco John’s locations throughout the state in Benton, Henderson, Madisonville, Mayfield, Murray, Paducah, Princeton and Somerset.

The Brannon Crossing location is the first Taco John’s to pop up in the central Kentucky area since the Frankfort location closed several years ago. Four more restaurants will be built around Lexington over the next few years and the chain is currently seeking locations for the new restaurants.

Taco John’s was founded in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1969. As one of America’s largest Tex-Mex quick-service restaurant brands, it prides itself on fresh and quality ingredients and generous portions.
