NPD seizes 65.5 grams of drugs

The Nicholasville Police Department’s Drug Enforcement United completed four search warrant operations last month that seized 65.5 grams of illegal drugs, according to a social media release.
The release states that the operations were “in response to complaints of drug trafficking within the Nicholasville community” and took place at 115 Birch Dr., 124 Lincoln Heights, 106 Wabarto Way, and 108 Beechwood Dr.
The operations yielded 58 grams of methamphetamine and 7.5 grams of heroin/fentanyl. According to the release, three individuals were arrested and charged with 1st-degree trafficking in controlled substances: Joseph Nevius, Matt Hammons, and Bobby White Jr.
Hammons and White are currently lodged at the Jessamine County Detention Center. Hammons has a $5,000 cash bond.
