The Nicholasville Police Department and the Jessamine County Sheriffs Department’s K9 office teamed up for a drug bust on Wednesday according to a news release on the NPD’s Facebook page.

“On 07-20-2022, the Nicholasville Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit, with assistance from the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office K9 Macho, conducted an operation. During the operation a traffic stop was made and approximately 47 grams of methamphetamine and heroin were seized from within a vehicle,” the release states

Stephanie Ramsey, 51, was arrested during the operation and was charged with two counts of 1st degree and one count of 2nd degree trafficking in controlled substances.

Ramsey is currently lodged at the Jessamine County Detention Center with a $25,000 cash bound.
