Don Wilson, age 67, passed away unexpectedly doing what he loved on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at the family farm in Nicholasville, KY. He was born in Jessamine County on September 30th, 1954, to the late Charles F. Wilson Jr. and Joan Bowman Wilson. Don was proud to be a lifelong farmer working first with his father and then his son. He was also a member and past president of the Jessamine County Beef Cattle Association. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Mattingly Wilson, one son, Todd (Carrie) Wilson, and daughter Kristen (Marshal) Tingle, three grandsons, Logan & Bowman Wilson and Hunter Tingle, two sisters, Charlene (Glenn) Montgomery and Elizabeth Ann (Lib) Wilson and beloved nieces and nephews. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glenn, Ron, Ryan, Kyle, and Charlie Montgomery, Marshal Tingle, Allen Collins and Dr. Joseph Michael Griffitt. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Buckley, Eddie Pike, Johnny Gardner, Jeff Riester, Jeff Banta, Jimmy Creech, Clay & Jackie Corman, Charles Collins, Tommie Burton, John, Woody & Jerry Drakeford. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 PM Tuesday, March 29, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Service officiated by Charles Logan Miller at 11 AM, Wednesday, March 30.
