East Jessamine High School’s boys’ track long distance team won a road race — the Quarter Horse Marathon Relay — held Saturday in Richmond, KY. They finished the marathon in 2:49:55, 1st place overall.
All of the boys — 15-years-old (2 freshman and 2 sophomores — run distance for the school’s track team, which just finished its indoor season and is preparing to begin the outdoor season this week.
The day after running this race, all of them volunteered, along with the rest of their teammates, for the Will Run For Chocolate 3K at Riney B Park, which was a race hosted to raise money for the team. From left: Dante Motley, Nate Moore, Jayden McBride, Andrew Dundon, and Cole Bowman.
