Library loves our community

By Sarah Shoate

Jessamine County Public Library

Here at the Jessamine County Public Library, we believe it is a privilege to serve the wonderful people who make up our community. During the month of February, the library is taking time to celebrate the things that make our community great.

As our programming and outreach staff considered what they love most about living and working in Jessamine County, many ideas came to mind: friendly neighbors, great schools, rich local history, active leadership and more. Together, JCPL staff combined their ideas to create an outdoor display in honor of the attributes that make our community special.

Outside the library, you’ll find banners that say, “There’s so much to love about Jessamine County!” surrounded by heart-shaped signs that name some of the reasons why JCPL is happy to serve here. We hope you will take the time to walk or drive by the display and that it sparks a little extra appreciation for the ways the people of Jessamine County make this community a great place.

As always, JCPL is dedicated to ensuring that the people of Jessamine County have access to ideas, information and cultural opportunities. The library is a place for everyone and all are welcome here.
