• Roberto C. Garcia, 31, of Union Mill Road, Nicholasville,was charged Dec. 4 with driving under the influence.

• Donnie L. Baker, 43, of Brumfield Lane, Nicholasville, was charged Dec. 16 with violation of an EPO/DVO.

• Jason Lee Scott, 24, of Woodspointe Way, Wilmore, was charged Dec. 18 with driving under the influence (second offense), leaving the scene of an accident, failure to maintain insurance and no registration plate.

• Charles E. Hampton, 50, of Stephens Drive, Nicholasville, was charged Dec. 15 with second-degree assault and first-degree strangulation.

• Quante J. Johnson, 26, of Lexington, was charged Dec. 14 with speeding, driving on a suspended operator’s license, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin).

• James Colwell, 38, of Ormond Beach, Florida, was charged Dec. 15 with one headlight and driving  under the influence.

• Lewis Duffy, 61, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was charged Dec. 15 as a fugitive from another state.

• John R. Carmical, 44, of Oakwood Drive, Nicholasville, was served a warrant Dec. 16 for first-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault.

• Shawn Caldwell, 32, of Floyd Court, Nicholasville, was served a warrant Dec. 16 for intimidating a participant in the legal process.

• Gregory Smith, 55, of Longview Drive, Nicholasville, was served an indictment warrant Dec. 17 for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first-degree persistent felony offender, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license (third offense).

• Edward W. Hafley, 18, of Stone Haven Drive, Nicholasville, was served a warrant Dec. 17 for fourth-degree assault.
