A Nicholasville man is facing a fourth-degree assault charge after he allegedly threw a television at his spouse following an argument.

Nicholasville Police officers were called to 522 Nottaway Drive at 1 p.m. Feb. 1 for a domestic disturbance. They found the victim, who was bleeding from one leg after being struck by a TV. The victim also said a punch was thrown.

The suspect, 32-year-old William E. Meador of 522 Nottaway Drive, admitted throwing the TV down the steps. Meador also appeared to be intoxicated. The victim said he had been drinking all morning and the two had argued over the TV.
