Nicholasville man arrested for public intoxication
David Alfred Smith, 48, of 201 N. Second St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 28 for alcohol intoxication in a public place, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to Red Fence Park in reference to an unresponsive male laying in the grass. Once officers made contact with Smith, a nearly empty bottle of vodka was discovered behind him, according to the citation.
Smith was described as having extremely slurred speech and unsteady on his feet. He was arrested and taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Lancaster man arrested for marijuana
Nicholas Allen-Lam Lark, 20, of 117 Ransdell Court in Lancaster, was arrested Aug. 28 for DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to maintain required insurance.
Lark was seen traveling northbound on Main Street and weaving in and out of traffic. Lark’s vehicle was traveling in the bicycle lane and was seen almost striking the right curb, according to the citation.
Lark was unable to show proof of insurance and handed officers his registration when he was asked to produce his license. A field sobriety test was performed, which Lark failed.
He allegedly told officers he was in possession of a vape pen with CBD oil inside his shoe. A search of the vehicle resulted in the confiscation of two more bottles of THC oil. Lark allegedly told officers he had not smoked any of the oil. He was transferred to St. Joseph Jessamine for medical clearance before being transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center. Upon entering the center, Lark was asked when he last smoked the THC oil and he allegedly told jail staff he had smoked it two hours prior, according to the citation.
Nicholasville man arrested for public intoxication
Donald Taylor, 23, of 71 Flagship Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 28 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol) and giving an officer false identifying information, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Taylor was reported under a person’s storage shed in their back yard and under the influence of a stimulant. Taylor originally gave officers false identifying information before later revealing his true identity on the way to the Jessamine County Detention Center. Taylor allegedly told officers he had used Flakka and possibly methamphetamine. He also told officers he had given false identifying information to avoid warrants out for his arrest.

— Derrick Lemont Green, 52, of 1868 Augusta Drive Apt. 6 in Lexington, was arrested Aug. 21 for DUI, no operator’s license, giving false identifying information and vehicle headlamp violations.
— Robin Carlos Melton, 41, of 308 Steen Pass in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 23 for failure to appear.
— Langevin Carolin Rose Jessica, 39, of 100 Maple Leaf Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 23 for non-payment of court fees.
— Steven Hall, 37, of 121 Frederick Rad in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 23 for non-payment of court costs.
— Wesley A. Bruner, 31, of 1050 Hickory Hill Road Apt. 10 in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 23 for fraudulent use of a credit card.
— John L. Stamp, 46, of 625 W. Main St. in Burgin, was arrested Aug. 23 for non-payment of court costs.
— Judy A. Carrier, 55, of 208 Savannah Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 24 for theft by unlawful taking.
— Landon S. Billock, 21, of 122 Mack Court in Harrodsburg, was arrested Aug. 24 for DUI.
— April Bond, 44, of 107 Acorn Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 24 for non-payment of court costs.
— Mathew N. Lawson, 32, of 300 Edgewood Plaza Apt. 7 in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 25 for fourth-degree assault.
— John Clinton Trimble, 50, of 1831 Old Clear Springs Road in Russell, was arrested Aug. 25 for making false statements to receive benefits, speeding 15 mph over the limit, DUI and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
— Ronald Ray Smith, 33, of 300 W. Fifth St. in Lexington, was arrested Aug. 25 for second-degree criminal mischief.
— Justin W. Miles, 32, of 223 Clinton Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 25 for failure to appear.
— Carlos Alberto Reyes, 33, of 307 Edgewood Drive #B in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 25 for no tail lamps, careless driving, DUI and no operator’s license.
— Morgan D. Lancaster, 33, of 218 E. Main St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 26 for failure to appear.
— James D. Overbay, 53, of 107 Lauren Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 26 for DUI.
— Issac D. Frye, 44, of 134 Grinder Court in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 26 for flagrant non-support.
— Curtis Young, 55, of 220 Ashville Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 26 for failure to appear.
— Mary Ruth Bishop, 37, of 48 Flagship in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 26 for fourth-degree assault.
— Vernon L. Houp, 40, of 523 Foxwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 27 for fourth-degree assault.
— Hunter A. Blair, 20, of 325 Savannah Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 27 for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
— Ajon Mays, 22, of 801 Sunny Slope Trace in Lexington, was arrested Aug. 27 for non-payment of court costs.
— Asha Mays, 24, of 801 Sunny Slope Trace in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 27 for theft by unlawful taking, non-payment of court costs, engaging in organized crime and failure to appear.
— Hunter A. Blair, 20, of 325 Savannah Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 27 for third-degree terroristic threatening.
— Jeremiah R. Demaggio, 51, of 6300 Blanding Blvd. in Jacksonville, Florida, was arrested Aug. 27 for DUI.
— Sondra Gayle Johnson, 49, of 1219 Burgin Road in Harrodsburg, was arrested Aug. 28 for failure to appear, theft of services, third-degree criminal mischief and criminal possession of a forged instrument.
— Todd Lee Perkins, 50, of 107 Lois St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 28 for non-payment of court costs and contempt of court.
— Donald Taylor, 23, of 71 Flagship Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 28 for criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft by deception.

— Lacey Dewight, 32, of 104 Grosser Court in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 28 for fleeing or evading police and a probation violation.
— Larry Hutson, 40, of 75 Old Clifton Road in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 29 for third-degree assault, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), resisting arrest and fleeing or evading police.
