On June 20, the Jessamine Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at State Farm at 174 Bellerive Blvd. in Nicholasville. The State Farm’s opening day was June 1. Jennifer Hawkins, a State Farm Insurance agent there along with three other agents, said the location was chosen in order to be in a different area than other State Farm agents and because she thinks the area is a growing area in Jessamine County.
