Nicholasville’s annual Wine and Vine festival took place from 1-9 p.m. June 15 at 101 R.J. Corman Drive. Vendors including Smokin’ Wheels BBQ, Sweet Sisters Shave Ice, The Painted Cookie KY as well as others who sold ice cream, kettle corn, funnel cake and other items sold food at the festival, several Kentucky wineries allowed paying guests to taste their wine, including 1922 House Vineyards and Winery, Cave Hill Vineyard, Elk Creek Vineyards, Rose Hill Farm Winery, First Vineyard and Sugar Creek Resort, Rising Sons Winery and other wineries. There were inflatables in a children’s area and live music all day, and several vendors sold jewelry, crafts, art and other merchandise. Fireworks ended the celebration.
