Nicholasville man arrested for methamphetamine
Timothy W. Gill, 57, of 2303 Elm Fork Park in Nicholasville, was arrested May 18 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Gill was sitting in the grass near the parking lot of Pizza Hut and appeared to be unconscious. Officers asked Gill for identification, and allegedly saw a syringe in plain view while Gill was trying to retrieve his ID.
Gill was read his Miranda rights, and allegedly told officers he had used methamphetamine. A search was conducted, during which time officers confiscated several more syringes in his jacket and a crystal-like substance from his right front pocket suspected to be methamphetamine.
Gill was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville woman arrested for possession of a controlled substance
Amy N. Welch, 30, of 1656 Kissing Ridge Road in Nicholasville, was arrested May 14 for possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers observed Welch in the South Main Street area of Shannon parkway, and confirmed there was an e-warrant out for her arrest. Welch was placed under arrest for the parole warrant and through a search, officers located a pill bottle which did not have a label on it in Welch’s possession. Inside of the pill bottle were numerous pills.
One pill was pink and marked with K56 and suspected to be Oxycodone.
Welch was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for methamphetamine
David Meyer, 46, of 114 Liberty St. in Nicholasville, was arrested May 16 for trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Meyer was located in his residence at the above listed address drug enforcement had obtained a search warrant for. Upon further investigation, officers located suspected methamphetamine, scales and baggies consistent with drug trafficking. Officers also found multiple fire arms at the residence.
Meyer was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for public intoxication
Austin J. Stuban, 23, of 420 Perry Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested May 10 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol), according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were called to Taco Bell in reference to a possible intoxicated male subject. Upon arrival, officers allegedly witnessed Stuban leaning against the wall of the building and fall to the ground.
Stuban was described as sweating profusely, having slurred speech and erratic body movements. Stuban allegedly told officers he had taken methamphetamine earlier.
Stuban was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Michael Blair, 44, of 308 E. Main St. in Wilmore, was arrested for contempt of court.
