Nicholasville man arrested for criminal trespassing
Cody Huston, 25, of 107 E. Brown St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Oct. 24 for third-degree criminal trespassing, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to Liberty Street by a caller who said a subject was in their house who they had told to leave several times.
Upon arrival, the officer was told the subject was in the homeowner’s bathroom and allegedly observed Huston slam the bathroom door inside the residence. The officer attempted to open the door, but Huston had it barricaded and refused to open it.
Once officers were able to gain entry through the door, Huston refused to put his hands behind his back and allegedly had a pocket knife clipped to his waist band. An uncapped and used syringe was found on the floor next to Hutson, according to the citation.
Officers then searched Huston’s bag and a white powdery substance was found inside a bag believed to be heroin. Also inside Huston’s bag was a small scale.
Huston was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Lancaster man arrested for methamphetamine
Vernon D. Harrison, 53, of 1127 S.E. Pine Crest Road in Lancaster, was arrested Oct. 25 for DUI, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and operating on a suspended or revoked license, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Harrison was observed by officers in his vehicle and failing to maintain his lane of travel on US 27. Upon officers making contact with Harrison, he was observed to be uncontrollably shaking. A search of the vehicle resulted in the confiscation of methamphetamine from the vehicle’s center console and one Oxycodone.
Harrison allegedly denied any knowledge of the drugs and said he was not the only operator of the vehicle.
Harrison was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Nicholasville man arrested for marijuana
William B. Wireman, 52, of 132 Sims Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Oct. 25 for DUI, possession of marijuana, operating on a suspended or revoked license and possession of an open alcoholic container in the vehicle, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Wireman was seen on US 27 when he failed to stop at an intersection. Wireman then allegedly failed to signal when turning lanes and failed to maintain his lane of travel.
Upon making contact with Wireman, he was described as having red glossy eyes, slurred speech and an open alcoholic container in the cup holder of his vehicle.
Wireman told officers he had four to five beers, and upon exiting the vehicle, was unsteady on his feet. A search of the vehicle resulted in the confiscation of marijuana and more open alcohol containers on the back floorboard.
Wireman was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Man arrested after testing positive for methamphetamine
Zachary Marlar, 30, address unknown, was arrested Oct. 26 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol), according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Marlar was at St. Joseph Jessamine where the hospital staff advised officers he tested positive for methamphetamine.
Prior to Marlar being admitted to the hospital, the arresting officer was dispatched to East Maple Street in reference to a subject having extreme paranoia.
Marlar was transported to the hospital by Jessamine County EMS and allegedly tried to leave the hospital when officers were contacted. Marlar was confrounted in the lobby of the hospital and was found to be a danger to himself and others and was unstable on his feet.
Marlar was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Man arrested for heroin
Mathew F. York, 31, address unknown, was arrested Oct. 27 for possession of a controlled substance (heroin), according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers arrived on scene after receiving a phone call for a suspicious vehicle in the area of Chestnut Street. York was placed under arrest for an active warrant. A search of the vehicle resulted in confiscation of a small bag containing a brown powdery substance suspected to be heroin.
York was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Nicholasville man arrested for criminal tresspasing
Mary B. Cook, 33, of 429 Kevin Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Oct. 28 for first-degree criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking under $500 and second-degree promoting contraband, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a female suspect who had previously been trespassing in the store, Cook, who was told by Walmart staff she was not allowed to be in the store.
Cook was asked for permission to search her purse and officers discovered two packages of unopened razors, one female deodorant bar and one flat iron still wrapped in plastic. Cook allegedly told officers the purse belonged to her niece and she was borrowing it. Cook was then found to be in possession of two double packs of Bic lighters, one package of hair ties, one package of bobbie pins and one package of candle wax bars.
Cook was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Susan Hullet, 47, of 303 Longview Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Oct. 19 for a Marion County warrant.
— Brandon Lee Montgomery, 26, of 108 Peelmore Ct. in Nicholasville, was arrested Oct. 22 for fourth-degree assault.
— Billy F. Goforth, 58, address unknown, was arrested Oct. 22 for failure to appear.
— Eugenia G. Ramey, 49, of 411 Young Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Oct. 23 for failure to appear.
— Brent Reynolds, 51, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Oct. 23 for failure to appear.
— William Graham, 41, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Oct. 23 for failure to appear.
