Wilmore Free Methodist Church hosts series on healing children
Wilmore Free Methodist Church, located at 1200 Lexington Road, will host a four-week series for parents, teachers and care givers on healing children through trust and relationships.
The series will be from 1 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays starting May 2. It will feature video training from Dr. Karyn Purvis, as well as a group discussion. Children are welcome to come and participate in the church’s children’s ministry which will also meet at that time. All are welcome.
Logana Baptist Church to host homecoming service
Logana Baptist Church, located at 1421 Old Railroad Road, will host a homecoming service Sunday, April 29. The event will feature Sunday school at 10 a.m., with a morning service scheduled fro 11 a.m. an afternoon service is also scheduled to start around 1:15 to 1:30 p.m. The Kittle family is scheduled to sing with Bro. Steve Kittle preaching. All are welcome.

Salvation Army hosts woman’s Bible study
The Nicholasville Salvation Army hosts a women’s Bible study from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursdays at 205 S. First St. All are welcome.

Bethel Harvest Church food distribution event
The Bethel Harvest Church, located at 3260 Lexington Road, announced it will host a food distribution the fourth Saturday of every month from 10 to 11 a.m. The event is free to all Jessamine County residents who present a county ID.
Free bread for those in need on Sundays
The Saint Athanasius Orthodox Church, located at 100 Lime Lane, offers free bread from Panera Bread to families and individuals in need in the Nicholasville area every Sunday from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. All are welcome.
Nicholasville United Methodist offers free meals on Saturday
The Nicholasville United Methodist Church offers a free meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday. Meals are served at 303 W. Maple St. in the Community Center. All are welcome.
Low-impact exercise at Providence Christian Church
The Providence Christian Church, located at 101 Providence Way, hosts a “Bodies in Motion” low-impact exercise class every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. All are welcome.
