East Jessamine Middle School welcomed the fifth-graders and their teachers from the east side elementary schools — Warner, Red Oak and Brookside — recently for three afternoons during the week. While they were at EJMS, the fifth-graders were greeted by the EJMS jaguar cheerleaders and dance team.

They also heard from the EJMS administration team about what to expect and what opportunities await them in middle school. There were performances from the EJMS band and chorus followed by the students taking a tour of the school led by EJMS student ambassadors.
