Nicholasville man arrested after allegedly concealing drugs in hotel bathroom
Bryan Reeves, 39, of 508 N. Central Ave. in Nicholasville, was arrested on Feb. 28 for a first-offense first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers arrived at Homeplace with the intent to serve a warrant on Bryan Reeves and were advised Reeves was in room 206. After knocking on the door a few times officers made contact with a female who did not open the door, according to the citation.
Officers allegedly heard commotion in the room which sounded like people moving around. The female subject opened the door and officers observed a male subject behind her. The female advised Reeves was in the restroom, according to the citation.
Reeves was advised to open the door to the restroom, which was locked. After opening the door and being placed under arrest, officers searched the bathroom where Reeves had been hiding and located a pipe inside a toilet paper roll and two syringes inside the toilet bowel. Officers also located a pill bottle in a sock which contained alleged methamphetamine.
Reeves was placed under arrest and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Man arrested after allegedly found unconscious in vehicle
Jason A Norman, 46, address unknown, was arrested on March 1 for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to a citation issued by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a call at Jessamine Station in response to male subject unconscious in a vehicle. The vehicle was parked blocking the opposing lane of travel.
Norman was alert when deputies arrived and was unsteady on his feet, according to the citation.
A hypodermic needle was in plain sight on the driver’s door arm rest. The needle was also described as allegedly having fresh blood or a red liquid on it. Norman told officers he consumed methamphetamine one hour prior to driving. Norman was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Nicholasville man arrested after officers found open container in car
David Adam Campbell, 25, of 309 Faulkner Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested on Feb. 22 for reckless driving, speeding 26 MPH or more over the speed limit, operating motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Campbell was observed as traveling 85 MPH on US 27 in allegedly dense fog a night and endangering other motorist on the roadway. When officers asked Campbell about the speed at which he was traveling, he allegedly stated he was keeping up with traffic.
Upon contact, officers observed an open Corona beer in the center cup holder. Campbell admitted to officers he had consumed a margarita and a beer half an hour prior to driving “because it was national margarita day,” according to the citation. A field sobriety test was performed which Campbell failed. Breathalyzer test results were .147.
Campbell was arrested and taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Nicholasville man arrested for DUI after being involved in non-injury collision
Timothy W. Ward, 52, of 716 S. Main St. in Nicholasville, was arrested on Feb. 22 for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were advised that the driver involved in a non-injury collision on S. Main St. was under the influence, and upon contact with Ward observed him to be unsteady on his feet with glossy eyes. Ward admitted to allegedly drinking one-to-two drinks prior to driving.
When asked to perform a field sobriety test, Ward allegedly told officers “he wasn’t taking [expletive].”
Ward was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Lancaster woman arrested for possession of Adderall
Xena A. Baez, 21, of 202 Dottie Lane #F2 in Lancaster, was arrested on Feb. 24 for a first-offense first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving a disturbance call and upon approaching the vehicle observed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, according to the citation.
A search of the vehicle yielded an unknown amount of marijuana within a mason jar, a clear plastic wrapper containing a white powdery substance from a cigarette pack, along with a rolled up piece of paper giving the appearance of a straw. Baez allegedly informed officers the substance was hers and the rolled paper was a straw. She then allegedly told officers that the substance was Adderall.
Baez was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Nicholasville man arrested for robbery
Da’Tonio R. Gillis, 20, of 335 Falconer Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested on Feb. 24 for first-degree robbery, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to the Shell gas station on Etter Drive to a robbery in progress. A caller advised a black male subject with a black hood had a gun in the store asking for money and then left back towards town. Officers observed a green vehicle operated by a subject matching the description given and initiated a traffic stop on Virgina.
The money which was reported stolen was located in the steering column of the vehicle. It was advised on the way out of the gas station Gillis also grabbed a handful of Swisners, which were also found inside the vehicle.
Richmond man arrested after being found allegedly intoxicated in roadway
Rondy Shell, 22, of 138 Francis Drive in Richmond, was arrested on March 2 for alcohol intoxication in a public place, according to a citation issued by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers responded to Gillespie Lane in reference to a white male subject intoxicated in the roadway. After making contact with Shell, it was determined he was under the influence of what appeared to be alcohol. Two witnesses allegedly told deputies he was almost run over by a vehicle and was knocking on people’s front doors. Shell was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
David Amir Seyedsadr, 26, of 232 Curtis Ford Trace in Nicholasville, was arrested on March 5 for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident with failure to render aid or assistance, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
When officers arrived on scene to a non-injury collision on Williams Road they were allegedly told that the vehicle, which struck a parked car, had left the scene. The license plate number was registered to the above listed address, where officers found the vehicle parked in the driveway with sever damage to the passenger side of the front of the vehicle. Seyedsadr told officers that he had been in a collision, although did not know what to do so he came back to his step fathers house, according to the citation.
Seyedsadr performed a field sobriety test, which he failed. His breathalyzer test results were .131. He was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
