— Scott Station Inn at 305 E. Main St. in Wilmore was inspected on Oct. 2, 2017 and scored 100.
— Cracker Barrel at 4089 Lexington Rd. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 5, 2017 and scored 93. Notes: can opener unclean on prep table, sanitizer level below 50 ppm on mechanical dishwasher and cooking oil container unclean at dumpster area. Follow-up inspection took place on Oct. 12, 2017 and scored 97. Notes: sanitizer now working on dishwasher.
— Mi Pequena Hacienda at 110 Cynthia Drive in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 5, 2017 and scored 97. Notes: prep coolers unclean on inside and outside, food storage drawers below grill not shutting completely, Hobart dough mixing machine unclean, no sanitizer used in wiping cloth buckets, shield unclean inside big ice machine and beverage wand nozzle unclean in outdoor bar.
— EZ Mart at 3066 Ashgrove Rd. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 5, 2017 and scored 96 for food service and 97 for retail service. Notes: violations corrected from inspection on Sept. 28, 2017.
— Connemara Golf Course at 2327 Lexington Rd. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 5, 2017 and scored 96. Notes: ice machine unclean on the inside, cooler doors and handles unclean, no towels at kitchen hand sink, no soap in men’s restroom and floor in kitchen unclean under and behind equipment.
— Subway at 256 E. Brannon Rd. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 5, 2017 and scored 98. Notes: towel dispenser broken at kitchen hand sink.
— Subway at 135 Orchard Dr. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 9, 2017 and scored 99. Notes: floor under proofer and bread cabinet in need of more frequent cleaning.
— Triple R Mini Mart at 740 Richmond Ave. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 9, 2017 and scored 97. Notes: salt and pepper containers should be food grade material and store utensils with handles up and serving side down (corrected during inspection).
— Papa John’s at 935 N. Main St. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 9, 2017 and scored 92. Notes: cleaning chemicals must be labeled, brooms shall be hung when not in use, women’s restroom needs covered trash cans and working on roof leak from hurricane rain. Follow-up inspection took place that day and scored 96. Notes: cleaning chemicals are now labeled.

— Tates Creek Mini Mart at 301 Ethyl Dr. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 12, 2017 and scored 95 for food service and 93 for retail food. Notes: thermometers not located in freezers and coolers, sanitizer test strips not located, freezers and coolers unclean on interior, storage shelves unclean, interior of ice machine unclean, numerous retail food items with expired date and floor in poor condition in retail area. Follow-up inspection that day not scored. Notes: expired food removed from shelves and plumbing work in progress in restroom and mop sink area.

Notes: chicken breading bag stored on floor, no sanitizer test strips, food storage shelves unclean, coolers and freezers unclean on interior, water leak at water heater, floor unclean under and around equipment, chemicals stored next to and above food-related items and hand sink not draining properly. Follow-up inspection that day scored a 93 for food service. Notes: chemicals moved away from food-related items.

— Gumbo Ya-Ya at 294 E. Brannon Rd. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 13, 2017 and scored 92 for food service and 97 for retail food. Notes: Food temperatures on hot bar must be 130 degrees – food loop recommended, pasta out of temperature on counter (pasta will be discarded), ice scoop and container left in ice, shelves and containers in rear of kitchen dirty and food manager card needed.

Notes: stored food products not labeled with expiration date, cooling service bar stored open with food too high in some compartments – ham and sprouts – with poor temperatures on top, pop nozzles dirty, sanitary receptacles needed in female restroom and floor by ice machine dirty and pooling water.

— Domino’s at 800 S. Main St. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 26, 2017 and wasn’t scored. Notes: Health Dept. received a complaint about roaches; gaps in closed doors noted, all doors need to be able to shut completely with no light shining through.
