With the holiday season upon us, Jessamine County Adult Education is giving away gifts that could change lives for entire families.
Jessamine County Adult Education is offering free GED testing now through Dec. 22. The cost of the test is normally $120, but through support of the United Way and the Dollar General Foundation, that cost is being waived through the holidays.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone in Jessamine County who needs a GED,” the program’s director, Mary Newton, told The Jessamine Journal. “Whether you’re looking for a better job opportunity, want to start college, or just want to achieve a personal goal, taking the GED is a first step. Through our partnership with the Kentucky Career Center and BCTC, we can help with your employment search or college enrollment process.”
“If you’re not sure that you can pass the test, don’t let that stop you. We have great instructors to help you every step of the way,” she said.
Anyone interested in taking advantage of this free GED testing opportunity is encouraged to call 887-9052 for more information.
