— The Wilmore Free Methodist Church, located at 1200 Lexington Rd. in Wilmore, invites the public to a host of programs and presentations this fall.

A seminar series entitled, “A Christian Eye Toward World Religions.” This five-week series provides a panoramic view of the history, beliefs, and practices of each religion and a comparison between the religion and Christianity. Dates and topics are: Oct. 8 — Judaism, Oct. 22 — Islam, Nov. 12 — Buddhism and Hinduism, Nov. 26 — Mormonism and Jehovah’s Witnesses and Dec. 10 — New Age Cults. The church will host a marriage series based on Gary Thomas’ bestselling book entitled Sacred Marriage: What If God Designed Marriage to Make Us Holy More Than to Make Us Happy? This six-week series will be Wednesday nights from Oct. 11 through Nov. 15 from 7 to 8 p.m.

Pastor Efraim Goldstein will give two special presentations Sunday, Oct. 22. During the Sunday School hour, from 9:40 to 10:50 a.m., Efraim will speak on Christian ministry in Israel in Room C202. His title for the class will be, “Israel in the Middle East: A Missionary Perspective.”

Then Efraim will share in the 6 p.m. worship service with a message entitled, “Who’s Jerusalem Is It, Anyway?” based on Psalm 122. A question-and-answer period will follow. Pastor Goldstein is part of Chosen People Ministries, a 100-year old mission organization dedicated to bring the truth of Christ to Jews all over the world. Efraim is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary and serves as pastor of the Or Hagalil Congregation in Nahariya, Israel.
