On Thursday, Sept. 7, the Jessamine County FFA Chapter held its Annual Livestock Investment in Youth Sale. The Committee hosted a dinner which featured greetings from Jessamine County FFA President Sadie Stinnett and 4-H Teen Council President Madison Adkins.
After dinner, the real fun began — the livestock sale.
Several students attending West and East Jessamine schools sold their animals, including high schoolers Ashley Smith, Addie White and Caden Ruda.
Former students and FFA Executive Team members Casey Simpson, Matthew Demoss-Hale and Krisleigh Watson also showed.
A special thanks to the Sale Committee Members for making this event happen: Robert Simpson, Dorothy Vale, Tim White, Ken Culp and Charles Miller. There was a great turnout and a generous amount of funds were raised.
