The Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce welcomed The Thrifty Parrot, Parrot Trophies and Full Circle Support to its ranks on Monday.

The three businesses, located at 125 Edgewood Drive, offer shoppers a chance to order personalized apparel and trophies, and to browse a thrift store and art gallery.

Though the businesses are new to Nicholasville this year, they will have been serving Fayette county for 10 years in October.

Full Circle Support, the parent company, is a training program for individuals with disabilities that is funded through the Medicaid waiver.

“We employ people with developmental and intellectual disabilities and they help us complete jobs,” said Diana LeMay, owner and executive director of Full Circle Support. “They learn about running a business, working in a business and how to work as a team in a business.”
