— Edgewood Baptist Church located at 717 S. Main Street in Nicholasville will host a pastoral installation service for Rev. Samuel Schmidt at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 16. Dr. Donnie Fox, president of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College and Joshua Schmidt will be participating in the installation.
— Bluegrass Christian Women’s Connection will host a luncheon at Equestrian Woods Clubhouse at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18. Music will be provided by Jean Gilliam and Sisters. Dr. Wendi Stivers from Nicholasville will be the guest speaker. For reservations, contact Janis DeMoss at 859-619-0124.
— Friends in Christ Community Church located on 1391 Crenshaw Lane in Nicholasville will be hosting a homecoming beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 23. There will be picnicking on the lawn a grill will be available and live bands will be performing.
— First Baptist Church located on 200 York Street in Nicholasville will host Mega Sports Camp from 5:15 – 8:30 p.m. from July 17 – 21. The sports will include basketball, soccer and cheerleading. For more information, visit www.myvbs.org/fbcn or contact 859-885-3983.
— High Bridge Church of the Nazarene, located at 115 Old Saw Mill Rd. in High Bridge, is calling for fellowship. The church will be hosting services each Sunday at 11 a.m. The church was without a pastor for a while following the death of Harold “Moose” Horton who pastored there from 1969-2015. The new pastor is Emmitt Jackson of Lexington. After much hardship, the church is at risk of closing its doors forever.
—“Intercessors for America” will meet on the last Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the Jessamine County Courthouse lawn beginning in April and through the warmer weather. For more information, contact Pastor Terry Moore at 553-3563.
—A prayer meeting will be hosted every Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. at Sonlight Fellowship Church of God at 216 E. Oak St. Everyone is welcome.

—Providence Christian Church, 101 Providence Way, hosts a “Bodies in Motion” low-impact exercise class every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.
—Free meal offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday at 303 W. Maple Street in the Community Center of Nicholasville United Methodist Church.
