2017 Jessamine County Saddle Club All-Around Horse Show

The Jessamine County Saddle Club held its 2017 All ‘Round Horse Show on Saturday, June 24. Despite a soft track courtesy of heavy rains the day prior, the horses and riders gave a good showing for the judges and spectators. Results from the event are as follows:
Class 1: Costume – no entries.
Class 2: Leadline (all young riders were presented with a first-place ribbon and $1) – Remi Davis on Jake, Clay Brandon on Willie, Casen and Colsen Wilson on Miss Kitty and Lil Rob Goins on Joker.
Class 3: Ride a Buck – 1. Allie Lawson on Cheyenne, 2. Austin Wilson on Clyde and 3. Amanda Sturgill on Jacob’s Dream.
Class 4: Western Pleasure – 1. Ilva Cordia on Oliver and 2. Rachel Angelucci on American Dream.
Class 5: PeeWee Pleasure (ages 10 & under) – 1. Austin Wilson on Clyde, 2. Landon Strange on Joker and 3. Konnor Leger on Thumper.
Class 6: Youth Pleasure (ages 11-17) – 1. Blake Ballard on Little Wilson, 2. Christina Smith on Pokey and 3. Sallie Meece on Affluent Appeal.
Class 7: Egg & Spoon – 1. Amanda Sturgill on Jacob’s Dream, 2. Susan Farrell on Vino and 3. Natasha Rains on Sophie.
Class 8: Musical Sacks (13 & under) – 1. Austin Wilson on Clyde, 2. Haylee Wilson on Maxi and 3. Konnor Leger on Thumper.
Class 9: Spotted Pleasure – 1. Caleb Wilson on Ky Chrome, 2. Jessica Wilson on Sniper and 3. Cecil Burns on Dream Girl.
Class 10: JCSC Members only Pleasure – 1. James Barnes on Jacky, 2. Mike Johns on Willie and 3. Marilyn Welch on Preacher.
Class 11: Simon Says – 1. Natasha Rains on Sophie, 2. Ilva Cordia on Oliver, and 3. Sarah Ann Byrd on Cat.
