Aaron Sheldon of Nicholasville received the Outstanding Student Award in Engineering Technology from the Department of Engineering Technology, Surveying and Digital Media from East Tennessee State University. He graduated summa cum laude in May with a degree in engineering technology with a concentration in biomedical engineering from ETSU. The U.S. Navy veteran holds an associate degree in engineering technology/biomedical engineering from Walters State Community College in Morristown, Tennessee, and he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. He is the son of Rex and Joey Sheldon.
