Kristen Fristoe, a Nicholasville scholar, was honored at a reception hosted on Wednesday, April 6 at the Space Science Center at Morehead University to recognize the academic performance of the Graduate Dean’s Scholars.
“The selection of our Graduate Dean’s Scholars each year is based upon the outstanding academic records of our undergraduate honorees, combined with their demonstrated potential to succeed at the graduate level,” said one of the hosts of the event, Dr. Michael Henson, associate vice president for research and dean of the graduate school. “It’s always a great pleasure to honor such a distinguished group of high achievers and to share the occasion with the family members who have so significantly contributed to their success,”
To qualify as a scholar, students must be an undergraduate who is graduating in the spring semester with a minimum 3.8 GPA.
